National Trust Garden – The gardens are stunning especially in Autumn. There are waterfalls, lakes and so much variety in plant life to make it a lovely stroll.
The shop is also well worth a visit, and like the Coach House Café, sits outside the admission gates to the garden and can be visited independently.

Wakehurst Place
Over 300 acres of stunning displays at Wakehurst Place. Boasts the worlds biggest wild seed bank. Four very different landscapes dependant on the seasons. There are free tours by guides subject to availability.
Cafe, coffee shop and restaurant, picnics allowed anywhere in the gardens. Large plant centre to buy seeds or plants.

Standen

Standen has amazing views from the gardens over Sussex countryside. Woodland and country walks with family activity packs and childrens quizzes.

Nyman Gardens
Outstanding 20th Century garden, set around a romantic house and ruins, in woodlands. A rare plant collection for diversity. Nymans is one of the leading ‘Green’ gardens in the National Trust, actively engaging its visitors with its methods of sustainable gardening.
There are family activities, horticultural workshops and summer theatre.

Groombridge Place
Groombridge Place has been the inspiration for many books and the setting of many films and television programmes. The variety is astonishing as there are more than 6 seperate gardens all made in a different style and with different beauties.
Located in Groombridge village 4miles SW of Tunbridge Wells
Ditchling Beacon
Ditchling Beacon is the highest point in East Sussex. Perched high on the rolling spine of the South Downs, Ditchling Beacon offers a panorama that seems to stretch into forever.
